Gelcell, a Division of Global Encapsulation Inc. is a wholly-owned entity of Pharmaguild.  Gelcell is a full service manufacturing facility with four (4) High-Capacity and two (2) Super High-Capacity soft capsule lines and a dedicated Pharmaceutical Suite.

    Gelcell is located at 1370 Argyle Road, Windsor, Ontario. Controlled access allows only authorized personnel into the Gelcell manufacturing and quality control areas.

    On December 30, 2002, Gelcell began manufacturing product with the four soft capsule lines at the 1370 Argyle Road, Windsor building.  Gelcell plans to expand its production capacity by upgrading its soft capsule lines over the next few years.

    In February 2004, Pharmaguild purchased Gelcell. New CEO Richard Italia has since installed a second super high-capacity 12" encapsulation machine along with four (4) 7.25" machines.
